Tenant-Net, a Maine corporation, was created in 1994 by three attorneys with one purpose in mind: collect and distribute timely, pertinent information so property owners and managers could assess and screen potential tenants. Based in Saco, Maine, Tenant-Net has been Maine owned and operated since opening for business.
Although it's not modest, and though it's our opinion, we believe that over 1,000 customer-members confirm our status as Maine's premier tenant screening service. Year in and year out our customer-members contact us before placing a single tenant in their units. Why? Because:

- We deliver it to our customer-members swiftly, and cost effectively.
- We are unbiased and objective.
- No other comparable service in Maine has the depth or breadth of records as does Tenant-Net.
Tenant-Net does not judge, form opinions regarding, or comment upon potential tenants. Our mission is to collect accurate, detailed rental history information. We do not keep lists of "good" tenants or "bad" tenants. Rather, Tenant-Net aids the rental application process for all concerned (owners, managers and applicants) by disseminating rental histories and profiles in much the same way or manner that credit agencies track and disseminate financial histories.
